Why Data Science? After 25+ years of applying my analytical and problem-solving skills to my legal and accounting career, I am now using my analytical, problem-solving and statistical skills to transition to a data science career. I love problem-solving, analyzing, and presenting solutions; and I enjoyed using those skills in programming, statistical analysis, machine learning and predictive modeling in completing a Master’s program in Data Science through Bellevue University: Curriculum.

Data Science Experience: Data Wrangling, Data Mining & Transformation, Data Modeling & Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Visualization & Reporting, Deep Learning

Prior Experience/Education: I have worked as a lawyer and CPA for 25+ years. I specialized in tax, estate planning and business planning. I hold a J.D. (Magna Cum Laude) and B.S.B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) from Creighton University and a Master’s in Data Science and a Business Analytics Certificate from Bellevue University.

Service: Mystery Code Society (Teaching Assistant), Coalition on Human Trafficking, Omaha Morning Rotary (Past President /Treasurer), and former TeamMates mentor.

Personal: My husband and I enjoy travel, golf, sports, puzzles and craft beer.
